The photographs in the Personal section reflect my personal vision of the world as I see it with my camera. My style is mostly documentary, somewhat austere and mostly in black and white. Of late I have been experimenting more and more with colour, montage and digital effects. I have been photographing for many years and have a large body of work that include the Southern African landscape its architecture and people. I have also been drawn to Europe with its old cities and architecture with an emphasis on Italian renaissance architecture. As opposed to the Southern African cities, which are all relatively 'new' I find discovering and photographing 'old' Europe very gratifying.
